Are you, or someone that you know, interested in becoming a substitute teacher in Oakland? Then stop by Room 225 of OUSD’s Central Office (1025 Second Avenue) on Thursday, August 21 for the OUSD Substitute Hiring Fair.
Apply online at www.edjoin.org before the Hiring Fair. We also recommend that you apply for your 30 Day Substitute Teacher Permit and submit fingerprints with Alameda County Office of Education before attending Thursday’s event. Offers of employment will be limited to day-to-day and Central STIP positions, school-based STIP positions require additional interview with school site staff.
